I nearly got taken out by a moto on maquarie pass today, he was overtaking round a blind corner, pillion passenger and all.

I locked up and he just squeezed through the gap about 1.0m from probable death

With the help of my dad, we'll be doing an engine swap on my XR6 this weekend.

Was looking forward to bringing the WRX out for some Ford bashing.

I know where your coming from being a frequent user of Macquarie pass, they don't realise that in a car we cant move over any further all we can do is hit the brakes and hope the clown on the bike moves back to his side of the road. They should turn the road into one way traffic that would be a fun run up the mountain.

One way would be great, would make a great hill climbs event. Yep bloody bikes do make it hard at times I have a few friends with high power bikes that love using the pass. I've told them heaps that one day you won’t win.

With living at the bottom of the pass every weekend if sunny we get heaps going up and down. Is a nice drive

*Fun twisty bit going down Macquarie Pass, then a right turn onto Jambaroo Mountain Pass at Albion Park.

I just re-read this bit, so we only going down mac pass and not up? that's a bit of a shame was looking forward to the hill climb...... descents on standard brakes aint much fun.
