hey guys thanks in advance for your time, ive changed my plugs, added the typhoon snorkel, new thermostat and downloaded a 10 psi tune[sct 2 flashtuner] and I,m going to put some injectors in and custom tune it, my question is will I have to retune it if I replace my intercooler later on?cheers derek.07 xr6 turbo ute.

This is my experience but I had NO CHANGE repeat NO CHANGE in AFR's or peak power when I changed from the stock crossover to a 3" under battery CAI and larger intercooler. No change at all, IMO change the cooler all you want, the injectors will definately need a re-tune and so will a cat change.

ratter (aka Pit Lane Performance) ,

has the Xcal2 got enough injector scale in it to install a set of 36 or 42 pound injectors?

There is no injector scaling option at all, the only fuel option is percentage difference at WOT, in theory there may be enough room to move to get your WOT fuel close to being correct, but you still have no lower throttle control of the injectors.

as for cooler I went from monza to a process west stg1 and the afr's actually went down half a point or so it was actually running rich ,wich is the way you want it to go ,if it goes lean thatt's what will do damage

I had the complete opposite experience to that.

When I went from stock cooler to an ASE cooler which still uses all the stock piping I had massive over boosting and wouldn't rev past 3500rpm without pinging badly.

Custom tune fixed all of that and added 30-40rwkws. :spoton:
