Vandalising Broken Down Cars On The Side Of The Road

Featured Replies

A car on the side of an isolated road (usually old and presumably broken down) always seem to get their windows smashed within 24 hrs of being parked there.

Who are these phucking idiots who go out of their way to be destructive.

I've always wanted to camp out in the bushes (along with a few mates) with an old car parked at the side of an isolated road and wait for these window smashing mongrels to give back some of their medicine.

Senseless vandalism really pisses me. If there was ever a vigilante group for vandels, I'd sign up today.

What about the knobs that just dump the cars and take the plates in the first place, almost as bad as the vandals....

the missus had her windscreen wiper snapped off the other night... car was in the front yard :locked: useless f*cking pricks! what the f*ck was the point? just a pain in the ass!

I thnk it was today/tonight that did s story on this a few years back. They simly left a car abandoned by the side of the road and filmed it over several days. Ppl basically stole parts and wheels and eventually it was vandalised.

Its senselessness is equal to that of graffiti.

Happened to me last week, just some blue metal ones the same colour as my car, worth all of 2 bucks. Ive had them on since I got the car 18months ago. I couldnt believe that someone would bother knocking off me valve caps.

must be a pretty nasty area for punks for be about doing destructo.

There must be a serial valve cap stealer going about. Back in the day I had sweet bullet tip ones on my pushy and those were stolen! They were friggen sweet too!

Shouldn't generalise the "young guys" part, surely it could be anybody including the female population, I havent had anything stolen from any of my cars yet (crosses fingers) but I have had people reverse into/side swipe and do damage while my cars been parked and no note or anything has been left there.

Once we had 2 cars basiclly almost destroyed out the front of my old house when we wern't home, the neighbours said they heard a fight break out but that was it, all front, back, side windows smashed and side mirrors broken off aswell as what looked like a few good kickins in the door. (This was to my 2 friends cars) The odd thing in the BMW about 5m further up the driveway wasn't touched.

Im not sure if my laws upto date on this but if theres a car on the side of the road and you report it in and 2 weeks later if nobody has reported it stolen or missing your allowed to have it yourself?

I don't understand why they do it when there are so many unmanned camera cars all over the place.
