Yea I agree with willow get rid of the pipe and put the stopper straight onto the crossover!

I run my bov vented but tempted to block it up just for sh*ts. I still worry that a blocked/no bov isn't good for the turbo

cant be that bad if you drive the car normally 95% of the time, I did it just for the sh*ts n giggles. Love brake boosting past people that have windows down :D, especially hsv's

Hey all, I'm only new to Fords and just got myself a TTG and the vacume hose to the BOV is tied in a knot?

I have read that you guys disconnect them and vent the factory BOV for more noise , but I always thought that you need that vacume hose connected to the other side of the BOVs's piston to keep it shut during boost? Are the factory ones setup different to aftermarket ones?

One thing I cant find the answer to in this thread is what should be done with this...

And are people blocking off the removed rubber pipe with a small screw/bolt?

Why are you removing that rubber pipe?

The venting is from the outlet of the BOV to the intake, changing that is where the sound comes from

My system is still stock, I havnt performed this mod yet but am thinking about it.

After I have done everything in the first post does anything need to be done to what I pointed to in the picture? should it be blocked?

Ok my bad, so this stays connected always, in the first post it looks as if it has been disconnected.
