Highway that is from gold coast to sunshine coast about 170 k's each way 540'ks.

Highway to sydney 640 k's to the tank.

I avg 14L/100km I get about 460-520 km out of a tank in sydney. dats hwy and city driving bout 1/2 of each. just cooler mod. and its either on optimax and optimax extreme. found better fuel economy wit shell than caltex.

You would have to flog the guts out of it ALL the time to have average fuel figures like that. Even then I think you would struggle to get that high.

I drive my ute fairly hard and as I said I average between 11.5-13L per 100km.

on a recent trip to gold coast from sydney I was getting 500km to a tank but my car is running way to rich on a bodgy intune tune

Forgot to mention that I've had a re-tune but that doesn't matter because it's the same on the factory tune.

Ever since Ford flashed it to the latest firmware it's been absolute crap.

Is there anything I can check as to the cause of the high fuel consumption?
