I dont think I have ever got over 300 k's out of a tank my average fuel is 20.5L/per100 k's and I just drive it to church and back

the little red light comes on way before you're OUT of fuel, I've run mine dry once (by mistake) and it had 20Ks left after it went to 0 k's on the trip computer

The tanks are just too F'n small 65 (at a squeeze) in the sedans as opposed to ~75 in the utes could be why you are noticing a difference.

P.S I get 300 k's a tank and its 80% highway driving at +160 kph.

My mate is getting 15.8l in his XR8 ute and I am getting 16.2 in my T both are totally stock!

gotta T ute, filled it up twice so far and have got over 400 k's from each tank. Mainly do city driving with some rather spirited sprints.

Just had a custom tune yesterday, and after driving it around yesterday and to work and back home today the average on the dash is 13.8 have yet to test it on a full tank, longer period of driving but so far looks good

I can only get 300 - 350km's out of a tank as well!! There is nothing like the sound of the v8 though. Can't get enough of it

I can drive Canb - Nowra - Canb on a tank of juice in the XR6T and that's with some "spirited" driving up Cambawara Mtn but the rest of the way with cruise on 115km/h. It's about a 3 hour trip each way, the same time it takes me to drive to Sydney.

Done a few more Kays now and the fuel consumption is about the same as the T. 16-17L/100km. About 300km per tank at first warning. The ute has an 80 Litre tank and the GT a 65 Litre

If you guys have swapped injectors I wouldn't bother looking at the figures on the dash, cause they're wrong (not to sure if the edit fixes this). My T said it was getting 11L/100km when it was actually getting 17L/100km.
