What a great day. Thanks Gary for organising what is the best drive I have been on in a long time.

From the base of the Mountain to the top we didn't catch 1 car and only saw 1 coming the other way.

After 2 VERY CLOSE calls to the cliff edge I backed off and let my brakes cool down and let the intake temps get back to norm as I noticed bad heatsoak (Standard car) near the top of the mountain.

It was great meeting you all and having the restaurant to ourselves.

I am uploading a video to youtube and pics to webshots right now.

Give me an hour or so

Cheers

James

Thanks guys for coming along :spoton: Yeah - was 6 cars but I think that worked to our advantage on this cruise. Farrrk what luck to have the whole mountain to ourselves on the way up and on the way down!!!

It's the guys that come along that make the cruise - and also want to thank deek for taken the lead up and down the mountain (farrk nobody could catch him anyways :spoton: - well I couldn't ha ha ha). Ummm - lets just say I now know what its like to be driving with suspension made of jello, brakes that shudder like corrugated iron and bein several hundred kW short of vroom ha ha ha. Geez, I really appreciate the T now :spoton:

Shall have me pics and vid up later too. Thanks guys cos I had a great day cruisin with you :spoton:

Thanks for a great day out guys. Well organised as usual Gary

Only 1 U turn that must be a record!

I gota say having done runs similar to that in the past in a T with standard brakes

I LOVE BREMBO'S

No fade or shudder the whole way!

I'm also loving the 6 speed auto.

The way it adapts to your driving style and down shifting under brakes and holding a gear under acceleration. Would be nice if it "blipted" the throttle! like some of the Euro stuff.

Thanks again

Deek

Fry I haven't done it yet.

Twice now it has failed at 80% going though and the video is 100 meg so it takes forever plus I am uploading 90 meg of pics to webshots.

I will give it another shot now to see if it will upload properly.
