All things considered though, it was probably the best move. I still owed 20k on it, the gearbox was dying, the paint job was up the creek (after an accident).. had I bought another T, I would have been borrowing the whole amount (or most of it), which I certainly didn't want to do! The grandpa car allows me to save some coin for another house, plus save coin for my wedding next year. A few years in it, and I'll pass it on to the missus and I'll be back in a T. It was either spend another 10-12k on the XR (T56 and full re-spray) or get rid of it and let it be someone else's problem!
