no it does not, you can fit a boosted aux cable then plug in a ipod or similar that will then play through the icc

MP3 CD-R's, No.

MP3 (or any orther audio source) through the AUX input, or iPod input, yes.

The AUX input and the iPod input are different versions/grades of the same option. The iPod input uses a preamp.

Looks like it will have to be an aftermarket headunit fitting then..

Wont it be a pain fitting one if the aircon controls are a part of the original stereo unit?

Mine plays CD-R's just fine.
