Earlier this morning Motor Trend broke the embargo by putter the Nissan GT-R on the front cover of their December issue. Now as others do the same, official photos of the GT-R have started to roll in.

Here are some official Nissan GT-R pictures for you to drool over from the guys over at AutoWeek. More official information will come next week when Nissan unveils the long anticipated beast at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The Nissan GT-R will go toe-to-toe with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 Turbo. The GT-R’s twin-turbo V6 gives it a startling 0 to 60 mph time of near 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph. Base price is expected to be less than $80,000.

I'm disappointed with the front, I somewhat imagined it to look more aggressive.

I'll keep an eye out for when it hit's the streets, see how a 400+rwkw Phoon compares...

That thing is an animal. Lighter, more fuel effiecent, quicker... mmm I wonder what it would look like with the booster seat in the back?

Undecided with the looks so far.. . It has the GT-R type rear lights, but looks like a 350Z from side on... but these things tend to grow on you. I will probably like it more and more as time goes by...
