Valve spring may be a issue but every car is different for these.Standard Injector limit 260kw approxStandard Cat limit 300kw approx Edited 10/09/07 02:34 PM10/09/07 02:34 PM by seventytwo
10/09/07 02:45 PM10/09/07 02:45 PM #5 I wouldn't drive very long with a CAT swap over with out a retune. Mine over boosted like a mofo.I'd get injectors and a CAT then get it re tuned and would get rid of that generic tune.

10/09/07 10:40 PM10/09/07 10:40 PM #8 I just replaced the standard cat last week and it sent my existing 10psi tune to over 13psi before I backed off. Now with the standard tune in it goes to 7psi-(custom tune next week).Take your new injectors with you to the tuner asap for a custom tune.
10/09/07 11:39 PM10/09/07 11:39 PM #9 A big YES to both. Why not save a little bit more and get them both done at the same time, then retune. Edited 10/09/07 11:40 PM10/09/07 11:40 PM by velociTy
10/09/07 11:58 PM10/09/07 11:58 PM #10 Author I will do that, makes more sense that way. Do you think I will need valve springs before the tune or are the factory ones ok?Any reputable tuners down Wollongong way if not who do I see in Sydney and what would a tune set me back? Thanks for all your help guys, the bug has bitten and wont let go
