I've never heard it with other gear changes and have even tried shifting with my foot off the accelerator but no difference. I'm coming up to the 3K check but want to know if it is a common trait. All the talk has been about the longevity of the manual box but this isn't giving me great confidence about the life of the auto.
Guest Guests Posted 11/06/03 10:33 PM Posted 11/06/03 10:33 PM Superoo you might need a new diff.Iwinged about a noise at the 3k check and it was the diff .With the new one fitted its still a bit clunky but ok.

Gareth Member 71 Member For: 23y 8m 11d Posted 14/06/03 10:01 AM Posted 14/06/03 10:01 AM No problems with my SSS, althought the downshifts can be a bit lumpy (when not accelerating). I drove a Magna hire car last week and the Falcoon is smooth as silk in comparison!
