I practically use both tunnels every day and the biggest problem isn't cars changing lanes, its some of the f*ckwit truck drivers being in every lane going uphill at half the speed limit. This pisses off all the car drivers and hence the weaving in and out of lanes...Bracks is a dumb ass cocksmoker who gets chauffered around and doesn't see what's actually happening out on the streets...if this cockhead reduces the limits any more, then we might as well give away our cars and start walking or bike riding everywhere as we'll get there faster...oh and by the way, the CityLink was supposed to decrease traffic travel time...any chance to get more money the c*nt....

Not familiar with this tunnel however wouldn't it have been easier just to dedicate 1 lane to trucks and trucks only, therefore allowing the other 2 lanes to operate like every other dual lane stretch of rd.?

I think 300 is too much old chap (unless they're Spartans) but I'm actually quite surprised there hasn't been more serious accidents to date...the amount of sh*t driving you see every day is quite amazing....what gets me going is that in peak hour, the freaking Domain tunnel is down to 2 lanes to allow emergency access in the left lane...yet you get some smart assess driving in it all the time with their indicator on pretending to merge....fark I hate those *beep*....end rant...

What if they put one of those "Slow vehicles use left lane" signs well before and throughout the tunnel? That works "most of the time" on freeways.

Speak for yourself mate. Like our roads are any better anyway! I offer the M5 f*ck up as an example. A road that was 10 years out of date, before the planning even started. And we voted the dipsh*ts back in!!! At least they got rid of the minister for f*ck ups Carl Skully...

The whole problem would be averted if f*ckwit truck drivers and self appointed protectors of public safety, get over their ego's, and get the f*ck out of the fast lane. The government has brainwashed them that speeding is the reason for every accident on the road and they are dumb enough to believe it. Its actually morons like them that cause most accidents!

Problem is, this is harder to police, and no where near as much of a revenue raiser. Hence no truck lane for you guys...
