I was in the industry for 12 years and I am certainly no speed freak, nor did I touch amphetimines. I've been in my fair share of brawls, pub fights etc, and I always fought fair. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the people I fought against (sounds very simliar to your description of bouncers doesn't it). Either they involved their mates or they brought weapons to the table. The comment of bouncers being 'exceedingly brave' in packs is hilarious. You speak as if bouncers are the only people that do this. Wake up mate, it happens everywhere!

Well said, its funny how a whole general opinion is formed on the people that work or worked in the industry due to a few moron's who go about making arses of themselves in their job

Im no bouncer but im no pussys either.Like Fat has said,I would respond to how I have in other ocassions.

Don't disagree with you , I was making a "sweeping generalisation". Unfortunately the pack mentality is now endemic in todays society, whether it is street gangs, bar patrons or those in the security industry who have to deal with them.Not like the good old days of one on one is it?

One point to consider in all this is that perhaps with a little resistance shown the would be car jacker might then flee due to the whole process taking to long, or you might be lying dead on the ground and he/she would then still persist to take your car, all depends on the type of low life that commits the crime I suppose.
