Which Gauge Apart From Boost?

Featured Replies

Just wondering what gauge to get apart from the boost? Obivously the autometer cobalt series, just going the mechancial boost gauge and hook in before the bov, but for the other one, not sure what to get. Also dont want it to be a major install if I can avoid it. Just wondering whats involved in install the oil temp or oil pressure ones?

Cheers

The oil pressure gauge comes with a piggy back adapter to connect the engine block and piggy back the orignal sensor onto.

Go with the electric one, it is easy to install and you won't have oil lines running through your cabin.

Is it that painful to do the mechanical oil pressure gauges? Just trying to justify the $400 vs $100 cost.

Keep all the gauges you install the same sweep. It makes everything look alot nicer IMO.

I always like to have the water/coolant temperature. This is a key indicator of engine operation and I can't understand why the manufacturers just give us a gauge saying "C" or "H" ... especially on a performance vehicle.

Cheers,

Scott
