thinking back to when you refinanced your car im thinking that in a few years you will be in a good position with it no matter what you decide to do..

you'll owe 12k I think and it will be worth more than that.. that's some instant cash there if you decide to trade down or even refinance it..

I wouldn't even consider trying to buy a house in the current market here, im not sure that it will hold up like this. might not go down but the high prices are ahead of their time imo..

at the end of the day it really is up to you. DONT BE SILLY AND SPEND $17879451556 ON A MARRIGE BUT. my mate had a real nice wedding on the beach adn all up I think it cost him maybe 4k, after having the reception at his house.

just my opinion but !!

Thanks guys, I do appreciate the advice and opinions.

Nope, Perth is just playing catchup and making up on years of under priced housing..

We are now inline ( and infront ) of al ot of Eastern States areas and rightfully so, it's US - WA- that are propping up the economy.. ( it's also a far superior place to live. )

Hey mate,

Good to see the pipes arrived, I was starting to think I got the address wrong or something lol

Sounds like your in a situation we all face time and time again, dam cars hey.

Even if you put the cooler on, you can still have it tuned for similar power but on less boost/more timing, so your box wont break and your motor will be much happier...

The rest wont cost a grand mate :censored:

With the T5 I think the best option would have been to buy a wog cooler and have it tuned to the limit of your injectors. That way you have some self control to save the T5...... which will die if you push it.

270rwkw on std injectors and less heat issues with the cooler would suit your scenario well I believe (don't worry mate I know what it feels like to be restricted by $$ - it su(ks!!!).

I'm in the same boat but limited by the clutch which I can't afford to replace at the moment (....+ it's a phoon clutch of nothing for me).

Sleep on it!!!!

Well Steve, as the resident tight arse, I only spend money on cars when:

1. They need fixing

2. The increase in performance per $ is significant (eg edit)

3. To keep the Full Service History.

You have a car you enjoy driving. Why spend more? Ive put off buying a BF until they drop closer to $30k and then Ill edit and maybe injectors straight away.

You sort of nailed it when you said you were happy with the performance. Just get a custom tune to make sure all is safe and T5 friendly and ride out your lease with your residual profit at the end.

Justy my humble opinion.
