Great write up Phoon, made for an entertaining read. Wow, the new Nizpro setup sounds incredible. Just when I think I've reached where I want to go with the car (it's only a T, not an F6), I read a story like that and my mind starts wandering. Maybe best to save such thoughts for if/when I have a better base to work with (the ZF 6 speed would be a great start, for example, whether it be in a Phoon or BF T). :ermm:

Like you, I also have to contend with a very wary Minister for Finance and I think I've pretty much stretched every boundary I can! Meanwhile, I'll continue to enjoy write ups like this, thanks for taking the time. :fool:

BTW, what part of Canberra are you in and what does your car look like (I'll make a note not to take you on if I see you!!)?

Good stuff Max,

good to see all went well on your trip. Now I'll have to find time so you can take me for a spin in the "Simons made a few changes" variation of your car :fool:

Thanks for the write-up.... a few pics would be nice.

It's a real pain when there is a drama on such a long trip.

Good work by Simon in W.A.

fyi I had a Nizpro stage 2 kit fitted to my F6 yesterday; I'll write a separate story.

(7th dyno run 382rwkw, then detuned back to 360rwkw also)

It's now very easy for some of these turners to get good results now.... and very consistent results in a very quick upgrade using known components.

My wife always suspects that I'm up to something, and she's usually right.

At least it was one of the 10 on your hands, and not the 11th one :blink:

Imagine not having any feeling THERE

Better watch out where you put those screwdrivers in future

just a quick thought Max.. why didn't you get Simon to throw in a 95ron map for the trip home?? that way you could use a little more of the grunt without so much worry

Also a couple of bottles of octane booster in the boot can also be handy.

Phoontastic ,thanks for the read anyhow
