I was just speaking to Harrop about brakes. As they do CV's for Commonwhores, I asked if they do them for BA.

They do "indestructable" VZ etc CV setups for $5500..

this is the response I recieved from them,

" At this point in time , we don't do any axle /cv joint drive

shaft upgrade for the Fords ....but it is in the "things to do" pipeline

, it will be a case of just keeping an eye on our website for future

ahhhhhh dude when there is a market there is a product... simple. I understand your frustration but it will happen.

hey hustler, I have comfirmation of them being ready to go and an eta of shipment ive ordered 2 sets, one for mine one for a customer.

I didnt ask how much I just said I want 2 sets.

They emailed me a day ago saying they would try and have them to me intime for my track day next thursday so fingers crossed.

They where first advertised at $3800 a set on the LS1 site.

I think it's still 'early' day's when it come's to Drag Racing and XR6 Turbo's, so the demand isn't massive just yet.

I know there's a few guy's around with huge powered car's that would like some aftermarket CV's and aren't interesting in any sort of racing, but I'd say It will be the Drag fraternity that will start pushing demand for these over the next year or so.

I have been hearing this exact same thing for over 12 months!!! Maybe my understanding of two weeks is different to everybody else?? Ive just given up!!!!

Until I see it in the flesh I wont be a believer!!! SO how much stronger are these cv's?? and what price ???
