Steve, I had a Pedders Camber/Caster kit fitted. The kit cost about $175 plus fitting. I also had Nolathane bushes fitted to the top arm to eliminate wheel deflection during hard braking and cornering.

The car runs 2.5 deg negative camber, and 7.5 degrees positive caster. Drives and steers heaps better :w00t2:

I have also had big issues with tyres scrubbing in the inside of the tyre. I have king Ssl springs that were fitted to the car when I bought it. It runs a set of 19in 245 tyres. I bought it with 8500 Km on the clock and tyres were severely worn by 15 000 Km. Took it to my mate at pedders and found that it didn't have a camber kit in it. he fitted them evry cheap (Cashie). We rotated the tyres and gave it a wheel alignment. 500k's lates they were down to the canvas. Were fine when we rotated them. NOT IMPRESSED.... So got new tyres and straight back on the same machine for alignment check. All looked goo very minor toe adjoustment needed. not enoght tostuff the tyres like they did. So I got another alignment from another tyre dealer with brand new machine. His aligner did not have corect settings for my ride height.. 10mm too low.. ARGHHH!!!! So we looked at the figures anyway.... even with camber kit- not enough camber on L/H side Noithing drastic or tyre shredding there. We changed our total toe to 2.0. He said "If this doesn't work - raise your car

... "Fat chance. Mat from pedder showed me the distance the wheel goes backward under heavy braking (It does move a LOT) by a quick 30 km - 0 braking display in the Pedders car park. he suggests nolothane buses in front of the wishbone. haven't done that yet but tyers have about 600 km on them and appear to be fine (So far). I know that this is a long post, but I thought that big wheels are to expensive to screw up. I hope that this helps. I will keep you posted......

Hey Steve,

I have used WA Suspensions since 1998 on my cars as they always do a good job, and they take care with my cars.

I go there every 15000kms to get a wheel alignment just as a precaution, and if no adjustment is required, they never charge me.

Well I shopped around and took it to pedders in Joondalup. They were very helpful and for $110 I now have perfectly aligned wheels and suspension. They had to align the rears aswell because the main control arms on BOTH sides weren't secured by the dealer last time the diff was out. The guy under the car unscrewed both of the bolts with his hands... NOT GOOD :spit:

But now I have new tyres on the front (Maxxis 235/40 R18 for $199) and the car drives straight as it should!! They did a good job :w00t2:

Ford... watch out

How much were the bushes? Did you get the hydarulic rubber dampers replaced? it looks like that is the only place anything in the sterring system can flex and I want to know if they can be upgraded?
