It has to be something with square and linear measurments not being equal...by that I mean:

4x4 = 16m2 and 16 linear.

8x2 = 16m2 and 20 linear

16x1= 16m2 and 34 linear.

its pretty simple, the green and red triangles are dissimilar which means that the total shape is four sided, its close but in the first pic the "hypotenuse" bends in, and in the second pic it bends out.

if you tried to draw this on graph paper the lines simply wouldnt match up and it would be plain as day
