although I did take the sticker off, so maybe that's the reason

I call stupidity... Ford should really be recording what these tools say and playing it back to them in front of all the other idiots... do they really think we are that dumb???

It is amazing what people will say when they have no idea!

The reason the speed limit it on the space saver tyre is due mainly to the handling of the vehicle.

As we should all know, you try to keep the same tread pattern tyre on the front and the same on the back so the handling of each end is the same! By putting these skinny tyres on the car on one side, the handling is affected. I doubt alot of people would tell the difference but the risk for the manufacturer is not worth it!

the REAL reason for the 80 kay sticker is for legal reasons.its the law.law states that a spare of differant size is a temopary use only spare, regardless of size.

it is a full size rim and tyre.no saftey issues running at freeway speeds.

Service advisers are salesmen, nothing more.make no mistake.they do training in sales not cars.

I was told the TUO spare was a thinner lighter rim.not true.there is no such thing.

I do believe some au's had space savers though?
