I disagree big buddy....

Show me somewhere a quad can get I cannot (apart from probably really soft sand) and I will give it a shot anyway! :spoton:

Sand like you said, mud, creeks (with that water stuff in them), rocky terrain, over logs etc. But then it depends on how crazy you are on the trailbike.....and knowing you that'd be pretty f*cking crazy

:spoton:

We use 'em for access in the scrub during the wet, the quad will go over black soil plains under 2 inches of water that trail bikes just bog and slip in. AWD and big fat Tyers.

in strong southern accent say

"we youst to use em, to chase dem dere pesky gators on da faaarrrm"

never let you ability or machine, stand in the way of your dreams though? just ask the parents of the guy that jumped the 100ft jump at black duck on his quad, they no longer have a son.

 our site saftey people let us use quads but not trail bikes...

Cause trail bikes are too dangerous

I'm not telling 'em, I don't want to have to walk

Hi,

had a Raptor 660 up until last year, sold it as had no time to ride & was in fear of serious injury.

Can't afford time off since I bought a truck.

They are fun though.

Hack the roof off the old, muscly Suzuki Sierra and whack some really fat 4x4 tyres on it. One of those pulled our (stock skinny tyred) HJ47 Cruiser Trayback out of an axel deep redsand bog.

Ohhhh, the embarrasment! :kissmy:

Still I agree, it all beats walking :stirthepot:

Lumpy

Sold it for $5200 to a mate 2002 I think. It need a little work, rear bearings, carby work, motor went hard it was rebuild before I got it.

I was warned about the gearbox main shaft sh*tting them self if you landed with a hand full of revs. but all in all expect to do a bit of work on them as they are high maintence beeing what they are.

If you want a service manual on cd pm me & I'll do a copy for you.

Muzza.

Hey you certified clowns, has Blackduck Valley got tracks for young kids and is it controlled for one way traffic. How far from Brissy is it...?

it,s a good place for kids of all ages, it,s more about motocross tracks than trails but they do have some at the back, young kids have a flat area to ride around with hay bales set up. blackduck is set up for novice to pro rider and including freestyle, excellant jump faces makes it easy to do the jumps. it gets really busy there so tracks tend to be better early in the weekend.
