Being the 'makes-mole' that I am - HSV, Sub.(STi), FPV, etc -  I like it...

It looks agressive with the pumped guards and short overhangs front and rear.. overlayed on a distinctive Euro look.  It's reminiscent of the 2004 Torana show car - as stated by D Mooney some time ago.

What we dont know about yet are the tech. details - altho from the output figures it sounds a bit like more of the same - from VZ.  Nothing there that will match the delivery and flexibility of XR6T and F6, with reasonable economy, it seems.

let just hope they dont bring out that pink torana colour in thier new range.

The Calais V looks horn! The SS on the other hand looks shocking!!

The Calais again has bigger tail lights then the base/SV6/SS models as was the case with the VY.

Wonder what the base model will look like?

Was looking at the new VE and noticed alot of similarities like the shifter looks like the BA one with the up and down shifts and structure of the handle. DOor moulds similar, front light also, side view reminds me of a BA.

Whats going on? COPY cats

I don't like it but that's me.

As for the headlights they are a direct copy of the territory lights and the angle of the top grill is so close to a terri aswell.

To all those nignogs who thought there'd be a turboed VE - bums to you. I knew it would never happen.

The VE looks decent, their interior is now just as good as ours. The front totally looks Astra, I like the look from the side.

The good treat for us Ford fellas is that 6spd auto BF Ts will soon be going for a song...my pants are getting tight already! Roll on BF II in Oct or whenever it is.

here's all that matters......

Thankfully for Expensive Daewoo there are suckers that think the same as you mate......How does the crewman go compared to shanes F6? :crybaby:

who needs a 400kw+ f6 when your mate's got one!!! I say... I have said it before but sell me a ford turbo 4 door ute and give me 3yr warranty for under 45k and its mine..

I like the new look,

The active suspension is going to be a real winner.....Lifts the bar for the new falcon in 2008.

Did someone mention "BLOWN"..

I don't mind the side profile but the front is a bit ordinary and the back is 380ish. I was hoping for more of a new Torana look as seen at the motor show a couple of years back. None of the range is force fed so I guess they all suck. Better luck next model.

I like the way there preparing us for Hybrids and have placed the battery in the boot on all models......mmmmmm subliminal.....

Also glad its over and there clever little marketing show is done with so there'll be no more 'spyshots' on every second page of any automotive journal you look at...........mmmmmm subliminal 2.....
