Its not classified as a part of chassis, its a bumper bar, its there so there is no sharp edgeds that protrude out the front of ya car. The cutting you will have to do, will be minimal, it would be grinding back part of the folded lip on the edge of the bumper bar, hence not effecting structial regidity and only being something minor an engineer would not even bother to look at it I have done far worse things to previous cars which were engineered and none of that was warrented to be looked at for the purposes of engineering

that's what I wanted to hear, my friend fitted a huge hybrid I/c to his s15 and had to remove an entire bar from the front of his car, any head ons and his engines gone

There is no bar cutting the only thing that has to cut (shaved) is the the thermo housing to allow for the cooler inlet pipe that runs along the bottom of the radiator...

the cooler size is 630 x 300 x 76mm .... 450mm core width

I fitted the hybrid 600mm gt spec there is stuff all cutting,minor shaving the biggest problem with the fitting was the a/c piping in the road but just slighly bent it out of th road
