So are you saying the diagram is actually looking at Right rotor from the outside face... ?

Have a read of the following instruction from the PBR kit:

" Assemble the new rotor, taking care to ensure it is the correct hand. A quick way to check this is to ensure that the slots closest to the front of the vehicle are pointing down. "

The reason I brought this up, is I have seen quite a few cars with the installation the opposite.... as in the above post of XXXR6T shows.

I haven't been happy with the initial "bite" that the PBR's have.... and was starting to question whether I installed them correctly.... I've got mine as per the installation instructions, which make the diagram I put up the left rotor (looking from the outside) ( and opposite to what XXXr6T has, and quite a few others too)

So the question arises?

What are the implications of having them fitted the alternative way?

have been on the phone to pbr and dba this morning and pbr says that the rotor must be fitted as per the instruction anf dba say that can be fitted either way and it wont affect the performance...do you have dba or pbr rotors..?

heres mine from when it fitted them yesterday...check out how worn my old pads where...

I have the PBR kit. I guess maybe the ones I've seen in the opposite direction have been other than PBR rotors ? As in your case, using DBA.

So now that I've confirmed my PBR rotors are indeed fitted the right way round, I need to get back to my issue with initial bite....

might have to try some alternate pads......

Guys forget the slots its all about the internal pillars or vanes make sure the curved vanes are always angled backwards towards the rear of the car. With pillar veted rotors like dba Kangaroo paw it doesn't matter
