Agree mate im sure most of us have been in the same postion at one stage or another and let alone the power these cars a making today,the main thing is your allright as the car is only a car and can be repaired or replaced

good luck with it all mate... my car had similar damage, total cost was just under $20k damage when they did the suspension, and everything else..

HOWEVER, I am with just cars, and AAMI looked after my claim... they were good, but the workshop they sent the car too the list of problems I have found with my car since repair continues to grow. They wouldnt let me choose my own repairer.. and now I'm even more annoyed at that.

Update

Car will not be available until after BVWE2 

All bent panels replaced, complete rear suspension including hub assemblies replaced, new rims , new tyres all repairs guaranteed for the life of the vehicle.

This repair is not being done on the cheap. Well done AAMI

Find out if you can get the old rear end. If it includes CV's and/or diff it could come in handy.
