" 35 degrees " Why do they always test in Hot conditions, theres at the very least a 10rwkw loss.

Weird thing is my car has run its fastest 1/4 on a hot night.Beating my last run by .1 sec but it was 11 degrees hotter.Go figure :msm:

I know what it was.It was my first run with the stall converter cause I smashed my 60 ft time by .3 :spoton:

Ummm, I dont think the media can control the weather......

Otherwise we would all have to wait until winter for all the performance testing!

well done fpv/ford, too bad too sad HSV !!! maybe the FI 6's will get the recognition they deserve from the 'lions den' now !!

Well done indeed,

A long time in the making, but finally. Great results but does anyone else apart form me think that Ford/FPV are holding back?

The 6 speed auto is great, as too is traction control for the utes and various other niceties (DSC) but with what they have created initially with the BA to now BF, why are they still insisting on only giving the bare minimum in engine output every time a new series or version is released.

Refining the little things is fantastic but now they've done so, when are they going to wind out a 300kw plus vehicle, especially since the new technologies will allow for it.

Damn it, I just want them to release an ass kicking two version of the Typhoon, give it 300kw + and call it the F6-C. (not forgetting the V8's also)

Geez, if we can punch this sort of power out of the F6 aftermarket, why can't Ford just turn it up to 12-13psi and absolutely annihilate all comers? Real hard.

I know, I know..............

It wouldn't be "responsible motoring"

blah, blah, blah

Did anyone notice the number of pages devoted to HSV in the mag? Pages 44 to 48 (Export Duties), then a 4 pages spread (pages 50 to 53) and page 146 (Skidmarks). This does not include the SS ad in the front cover. The F6 might have won but it looks like most of the mag is devoted to HSV. So much so, they're giving them away.

*note to HSV's marketing department*

with so much advertising I almost went and bought a bloody HSV :spit: ......nah just kidding, couldn't lower myself to that level yet

Poor HSV/Expensive Daewoo my be bleeding by now with the success of the BF Falcon / FPV range :spit:
