Wow, makes that $1250 extra at purchase look like a gift!

Take note that buying the ZF 6 speed auto new is an additional cost that represents the marginal swap cost of them taking your manual box with you having the ZF. :msm:

Buying it after does not factor the value of your manual box that they would keep if you bought the ZF new at purchase time, so it will be a lot more expensive, in addition to all the extra installation inclusions already mentioned.

who says you "cant" get the numbers, nobody has really tried to the extent that alot of the auto guys in a manual..

anyway...

why not sell the phoon and buy adams car?

why not try to beat the Manual record?

just cause you arent the fastest doesnt mean you cant have a goal to reach.. :)

BB,

All I can say is you are nuts if you butcher your F6 and put in an Auto.

You would severly devalue the car and most likely not get the desired results you are after with the auto.

I agree with ITec, try the manual first as all the LS1 cars seem to run very well with their manual gearboxes. The F6 is a great platform to take the manual record. If you are not looking at getting into the 9sec 1/4 then I do not see the point in converting.
