blackwrx Member 181 Member For: 21y 7m 1d Posted 10/01/06 03:20 PM Posted 10/01/06 03:20 PM what sought of boost / air flow ratios should I be running?I would rather be a little conservative, the rex was running 16psi really kicking in at about 3500 rpm and pulled all the way to 6000 rpm.I dont think the fords with stock internals etc can handle that sought of boost! but I would like to be able to spin the wheels if I wanted, when I test drove the car no matter how hard I pushed it the wheels did not spin.

So rather than insist on the way you want the engine tuned, pick a responsible tuner with all the right test gear and discuss the ramifications of your request. Its all good till something goes wrong, so make sure there is some safety margin in the program.
