summary of round 22.......

There's a buzz in the street, when the people meet.

As the month of September draws near.

The clubs are jostling, for their rightful listing

To make the finals, fans yelling and whistling

The best in the land, will lock the top four

And that'll give them the double chance for sure.

The others fight, tooth and nail to make the eight,

But alas, for some, they've left their run too late.

The Mexicans are worried, about the state of AFL

Cause the interstaters, are winning at will.

The prize is the almighty, AFL CUP

It's a National comp Victoria, so give it up.

The Swans are gliding, north in the sun.

The Crows hover to the west, having fun

Whilst the Eagles are perched, right up above,

Just a slim hope from the Saints, if they push and shove.

So as we go into the final minor round,

The Roos and the Cats, can sleep without sound.

Win lose or draw, they'll have done enough

To play the first elimination final, that'll be tough.

The last two spots are still up for grab,

No fewer than four clubs, can still have a stab

The Lions, and the Demons, it's a tough ask

But a win for them might achieve their task.

Freo meet the Power, for the Wharfies "ashes"

It'll be a battle full of clashes, crashes and bashes..

It's do or die, so expect both teams to be riled

The winner remains alive, whilst the other's exiled.

Over in Perth, on Saturday will see,

The clash of the TITANS, the top of the tree. .

The Eagles and the Crows fans, battle for right to call.

Their club the "Home and Away" CHAMPIONS, A chance to stand tall.

So wherever you are, all over this globe,

Whether its here in Australia, or anywhere in the world

We're about to begin, an almighty din and rattle,

For the AFL premiership, the fight for NUMBER ONE battle.
