short motor, would that include turbo?

doubt it.. if so then youll still need to source inlet manifold, exhaust manifold,turbo,wastegate... list goes on!

better off buying a used motor and rebuilding it!

this is, only the short motor, no turbo, no head, but is put together with all the strengh you should need for 400- 500 rwk, I think it would cost that much for the parts by themselves, you can't compare to a standed secondhand motor because you would still have to buy the rods, pistons, bearings, stainless rings, let alone getting it race prept, I just thought it sounded good, and you could still have your standed bottem end, as spare if you had not already hurt it.

there number is 0297050998, I won't say there name, and I don't know them, or there work Quality, just thought someone else I nsw might.

just a thought

That is bloody cheap. The cheapest quote I've had so far for something like this is $5500. An exchange from nizpro is around 8k.

It depends on which rods they are using but it is a good price for a built bottom end. A bottom end from Ford and decent set of rods would cost you close enough to 4K before pistons and all of the other stuff and then you need someone to build it for you.

But do they sleeve cylinder 1, do they check for core shift, these are just a couple of many questions, no doubt the Nizpro engines are built from many hours of R&D and they are very well put together. But well spotted David.

Good points, you will always get what you pay for, but these donks sound very good for the money.

Why sleeve cylinder 1 when the block is cast iron?

Excellent price for a short motor considering it's an outright purchase.
