But with BA Falcon sales running out of puff, the next series – to be revealed next week – is a much-needed arrival. Few details of the facelift are available yet, though a European-sourced six-speed automatic for the V8, turbo and luxury cars is likely. Not long to wait l guess

Lack of transmissions could completely shut ford down if they wanted to continue using the 4 speed. ZF 6 speed standard on the entire range. Has a nice sound to it. I also hope they add ESP standard to the entire range. Slice some Kg's of the kerb, improve NVH, improve economy, improve performance.. The falcon REALLY needed this gearbox.

The parent company was put under recievership but there are no supply problems.
