Frightening stuff.

They had an aussie on the news before that couldn’t get in contact with his family back here in Brisbane. The poor bas*ard left the Bali nightclub 2 minutes before the bomb over there and was just about to enter kings cross station (I think it was) when one of the undergrounds imploded. I’d be straight of to get a lotto ticket if I were him.

Makes you realise that you’re not safe anywhere.

Trent.

Agreed.

I feel sorry for the people of the UK, they do not deserve this one iota.

Whilst all of tonights unfortunate events are taking our mind space, one thing has disturbed me equally. I have now watched 3 times the Blair & G8 Delegates response to the atrocities committed.

If you get the opportunity watch closely the Piggy , darting eyes of Bush. :spoton:

When a world leader shold be looking ahead and displaying a steely resolve , what do we see? Is that a wry( spelling I'm tired) grin trying to bust forth, or is it a smug look of I told ya so ?Albeit in justifying his countries numerous assaults into the lands and lives of others...... begs the question.

Not a Bush fan , never have and never will be. What lengths will he go to , to make his point? A conspiracy thearists day at the show...

Oh Jeez Julian, you make it sooooo hard, All I can say is that I agree wholeheartedly with you.

What I also saw with Bush is that he was struggling to string words together on an ad-lib level, something is wrong when he can barely keep up what we would consider a normal level of conversation...

My greatest fear is the backlash both socially and politically, nationally and internationally that this will instigate....

phew... what a relief

after hours and many attempts finally made contact with part of my family and they are well and safe, hope the rest are too.

And those of you still waiting to hear... my thoughts and wishes are with you.

Well hopefully they pull their heads in, cause if Bush gets pushed, he will level the middle east, without a second thought.

my condolences to the families of victims.

but on another note, ive always thought all the changes in terms of security that these counties have brought in (including aussie) after 9/11 have been a complete toss. were never going to stop a thing. and as we can all see now, they havent.
