I understand he survived but the car had a few leaks in it.... Too many to give chase...

There are good and bad in all areas of life and its best to treat people on an individual basis.←Oh please Steve, the police are way out of line here!! They didn't need to taze her for being on her phone!! They should be charged with assault!! This woman is hardly a criminal or a threat to anyone!!!←Check their legislation before you comment, he was following the american protocols preciesly, if they do not comply with direction they can be tazed, she did not comply she was warned three times she was tazed simple. It is believe it or not dangerous to pull someone out of a car on a busy street, and you don't know what they are going to grab onto, why should the police get hurt because she is disobeying the law, I feel all warm and fuzzy. Before anyone asks no we cannot taze motorists yet although we are studying the americans and it is a possibility in the near future, as we are already practicing with these options.

This was close and the car had a guy and gal. It turned out they were wanted but the car check did not reveal that, or he would have been bloddy stupid to get out one up. Mate I cannot recall the details, but someone will in time let us know. Without seeing the video that started this post, I can only think about what happened to this poor copper.scotty

That said he was following the current rules as set down by the american legislature so if he or she was to be hurt he would be covered where as grabbing her out of the car is not the correct way for him to do it so if he or she was hurt then he may not have been covered legally and as such he could be in serious trouble. Our rules are different but I can see that this method may look dramatic, but in the end she was not hurt and neither was he.
