I m boosting up my xr 6t, any advise. any do's and don't. please kindly advise

Hey Muzza & XR6TT,

You cant just "boost up" a xr6T like you can a VL or Skyline, no bleed valves or the likes. The Xr6 has a very tricky and Harsh factory ECU and even the slightest inrease in boost will cause the computer to cut in.

The best was would be like the other have said, EDIT and CAI. Will like you to 230-240rwkw. The max the stock injectors can handle.

Then you will need, injectors, valve springs, trans mods, intercooler and exhaust needed for over 300rwkw.

what power are you likly to get with edit ,second cai kn filter and full exhaust??

235 - 240 ish

to safely go beyond that you should fit larger injectors and do trans or clutch mods

Just got mine done (edit), went from 190 to 247.5 - enormous difference with the foot flat to the board. Cost, a little over $1600.00.
