My BA XRT sounds like an old air conditioner on idle, im 99.9% sure its the Heat shield. As I am new to B-Series, can someone let me know exactly what I need to do to remove the thing, and how long it should take? Thank you in advance guys!

From the rear, unbolt bolts 6, 4, 2 and 1 from the exhaust manifold, then the little bolts you can see down the side and it's off...

I WOULDNT TAKE IT OFF ,JUST FOLD THE EDGES TOGETHER USING MULTIGRIPS THEN SQUISH THE CENTRE IN USING A HAMMER. I DID IT TO MINE AND IT HASNT MADE A NOISE SINCE.

I checked all my bolts coz I thought that might have been it. One of my exhaust manifold bolts was about 6 turns loose, but I'll be buggered if I can get under my car to clamp the sheilding without a hoist
