These have backed hemi dragsters in the states and are yet to be bettered (the gearbox in a mainstream prduct). Have seen a powerglide fitted to a 600+hp turbo ute, but the torqueflite is the best auto box available (IMO). I think you'd be better off spending 1-2k on one of these than the stock box, and they're so much better than the powerglide (no contest). What keeps breaking in the ford (BTR) auto?
