Posted 18/03/05 02:59 PM Posted 18/03/05 02:59 PM Was out at Calder with a few of the forum regulars. We caught up with the guys from VicStreet Utes. Macka was there as well. My first run I had trouble with cold brakes holding the car on the line. I had to launch early and only managed an 11.82. The next run went well and I got a new PB of [email protected] the last run was an [email protected]. The night never really got cold.Macka didn't have alot of luck. His first run looked ok but he had a bit of trouble with the launch. The car looked great with the shaker running down the 1/4. I think it was a 13.03 run after this run the auto seemed to siht itself. The indution noise as the shaker goes as the is awesome. I think Macka and Nick were testing launches this afternoon and I think the heat this would have generated never left the auto. Hopefully Macka can sell the stuff from his garage and get the auto strenghtened. Then he'll be able to give it a good run down the 1/4. It was good catching up with the guys and thanks to JB and Dave for the push in the staging lanes. Also a highlight was having Rachel Splatt launch her 4sec top fueler less than 20 meteres away from me. It felt like the earth was moving and that my eardrums were going to burst. It was great.Geea.
