One thing I will say as a fact is I know at the beggining of the testing we were making the same power as when the car came in (294rwkw) at 12psi which was 2psi less than when it first came in on the other format.

This was however only at the begining of testing. :spoton:

Well done JB,

See, it's not always how much boost you push into it. It's more to do with how the car is tuned with the boost that you already have. :spoton: 20 extra kw just by playing with timing and other things.

Jb.

Where you having a few idle and surgeing problems with your car from original that ford could not fix and has the edit fixed the issue?.

I would pay just to have a decent idle map loaded into my car to stop the stalling issues.

Yes idling problems, stalling consistently and surging like you would not believe.

All gone now :w00t2:

I think the track results will speak for themselves - comparatively wise - if you intend to get her back on the 1/4?

Joel.

Hey Joel,

The qtr hmm not me :w00t2:

I will possibly run tommorrow night if the weather cools down in the evening (29 forcast) my limitation is the intercooler (way past it's limit) gimpy boy Geea will be there with his spray so I will probably borrow that. :hrmm:

Can't wait to see a pic of you in your cape & G baby in his gimp suit. Trying not to laugh.

This is great news mate. Will have to look into this as put up with this problem for 2 years now with to many attempted fixes by ford.Just a bl--dy joke all this stuff happening with all there so called updates and fixes that do not work.Bless the aftermarket industrie for bringing out something that actually works.

If it solves "idling problems, stalling consistently and surging", plus overboost, regardless of performance advantages, to me it makes it worthwhile.

It's also unbelievable that Ford can't solve these issues. It makes you think that Ford aren't really trying. That's great information JB.

This is excellent news JB. Im still waiting on my new injectors from Eugene but hopefully will get them today, or latest Monday. I have spoken to Rob from HPF and explained my goals for my car. He sounds like a top bloke and more than willing to help.

So my car should be down there Either Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Cant wait anylonger

PSIXR6,

Let us know what results you get. I have the Eugene injectors ready to go but waiting to source and intercooler before the custom edit.
