February 26, 200521 yr #11 It is my belief that the APS blue ute ran a mph of 127.31 on the 19th of December 2003. That is the fastest MPH I can remember.Well done to Simon none the less but it isn't the highest MPH record for an xr6 turbo.
February 26, 200521 yr #12 Tell me if im wrong but im pretty sure this car has a twin 4" exhaust and a very special suspension setup under it so its a little more than just a stage 2 and editBut good mph but for close to 400rwkw I would be hoping for more the car has the power and setup to get a 10<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Looking at the statisitics in the opening thread, it shows the 60 foot time at 1.87, and you being a drag racer should know that this isn't a good 60'. So it would appear that a 4-link is irrelevant. As to the zorst, you're wrong mate, sorry. Factory apart from a modified section to accommodate that 4-link (is the explanation from the Nizpro website).<{POST_SNAPBACK}>The last time I saw this car the exhaust was far from standard has Nizpro changed it back to standard ??Yes a 1.87 60ft isnt that great but what tyres was it running ?? not slicks so that's why the 60ft is downNot taking anything away from what Nizpro has done here (great job) im just saying there are more mod's to this car than stated above

Not sure what tyres the APS ran, Nizpro were running Nittos. For Nizpro it's pretty good for stage 2 components with edit + valve springs + fuel pump. I think Simon was testing the edit on the drag strip for the first time.It would be interesting to see how it would go on proper slicks.... probably very close to C&V's record ET.Brian
February 26, 200521 yr #15 Oh no doubt about it being a very fast ute. I agree with slicks and a good 60 ft time it will give 10;s a very good shake.

So its not a phase3 that you would get from APS, they also did some major work to the trans.Dazza.
February 26, 200521 yr #18 woops I did it again<{POST_SNAPBACK}>You did Dont forget to clean it up.Dazza.
