Wrx Vs Xr6 Turbo

In the short term you won't like the handling of the XR compared to your Rex.

The XR has nothing on a Rex in cornering, however not much cars do. If your ok with that the XR with engine mods should be a treat.

I am looking at buying a new XR6 T

I currently own a wrx with a few mods like unichip, turbo, big exhaust, intercooler, CAI etc.

I would like to know how does the ford XR6 turbo go against the WRX's ?

Hey,my mate has a 2000 model wrx with a few little mods done (exhaust,computer)when my xr6t was standard I would race him off the line and he would absolutely destroy me I wouldnt even bother to try to chase him but off a roll it was a different story and I would just beat him,now since I have done my mods 257rwkws (he has done no more mods)when we race off the line he will still jump me but it will take me up to 80km/h to fly past him, now when we race off a roll I absolutly destroy him.

Youre here because youre intrigued by the XR6T...understandable.

If you want effortless power, smooth power delivery (almost non-turbo like), more comfort and good handling (for size) then the XR6T is for you. The engine mates particularly well to the auto which is why 70% of XR6Ts are auto.

If you want to feel the violent and fun acceleration of a WRX off the lights with a 5000rpm clutch dump then WRX is for you. Wear n tear is the trade off.

Stock XR6T manual will do a 14.1 ¼ mile; auto 14.2; stock '04 WRX 14.0. Once you start modding the auto Ts take over. Find a modded XR6T owner in your city via this forum and make your own mind up, Im sure many will be willing to take ya for a spin.

If its power your after then the xr6t is the go, it just ooozes grunt and for an investment less than what you would have spent on your wrx it will give you power the 4 bangers only see with 20+psi, in the looks department, I like them both but in the comfort department the T will feel like a limo compared to a rex, you wont regret buying a T but just way up whats more important, power, comfort, cornering etc and see which one gets the most votes.

I would like to take an XR6T for a test drive but there isnt many around.

The subaru is a bit small and on long trips it feels like you are always pushing it. I am looking at the 6 speed manual.

Guys thanks a lot for sure I am for sure getting one!! But just saving at the moment if I didn’t have a Mortgage man! I will order one now!!! SP20 is a great car but no balls at all!! I am looking to buy about in dec this year when they going to have the sales man so hoping to get one for about 44 to 46 man with Premium sound I am not to worried about the leather seats but we will see!! Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am hoping to get 22K for the SP20 by end of the year it’s only one and the half years old with 26000KM on the clock I hope to have about 37000 when I Sell it!!
