February 23, 200521 yr #31 My US$30 Pro version turned up yesterday. 7 days from Purchase to front door via USPS These units are superceded according to the US Website of gtech. Normal RRP US$139The units are also Imperial, meaning they do NOT do metric.Website says the Metric ones are no longer available.Suggest you check with the Aussie Ebay sellers to see what they supply!!So you get 1/4 mile, but only 0-60 MPH, not 0-100Km/h.Price ended up being Aus$63 all up.The thing is tiny, like not much bigger than a matchbox
February 23, 200521 yr #32 I just ordered (winning bidder) a Pro Comp Gtech from ebay. This is the one that can be upgraded to full RR spec but still have the blue backlight screen (to go with the rest of the T dash )It should arrive within a week, I will let you know the results when it arrives.P.S I had the older (cheapy) Pro model, but quickly got bored with it as you cannot download 1/4 mile or race data to a PC, plus the newer unit has a lot more features...Cutsnake.

They want to much for the SS and RR model here. I was told 700-800 which is over half the price of the stealth so no thanks. The one I got is the G Tech pro and will hook it up this afternoon
February 24, 200521 yr #34 I'm confused. Is the one Eugene is talking about the same one pictured in Mr66'S Pictures? Or is the $60 one the red LED type pictured on ebay?I want the MR66 one, looks cool me thinks. Appreciate anyone clearing it up.

Appreciate anyone clearing it up.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>No, Eugene is refering to the original one called a GTECH Pro. This one has the red LED's and gives you the basics. This is good for 1/4, 0-60mph times, and horsepower but, the runs cannot be saved and downloaded to a PC for analysis with GTECH's PASS software.MR66 has the GTECH Pro Comp which can be software upgraded to the RR. This is the hamburger with the lot.....P.S. The latest ones are now called SS and RR. The SS has some features dissabled. Both SS and RR now have the orange backlight (as opposed to the Pro Comp which has Blue backlight.)I hope this helpsCutSnake

Has a website got the better software and you can install it yourself, or do you pay for it?3) DO you have a link to the exact one you mention ie the one that is upgradeable and blue?
