Hi,

I have just checked out the G Tech website and it appears the SS set up is better to use for times etc.

Just got a few questions:

Who has got one and how accurate are they?

Where do you mount one in a T?

Are they easy to intall?

How much are they worth?

Has anyone got a photo of one set up in there car?

Also is there a dealer like Herrods that sell one. Im in NZ and wondering where to get one from.

Cheers Gavin :censored:

From what I can tell Gavin, they only need power and a firm level mounting, they use a Gyroscope to measure lateral G forces and this is then converted into 0-100k, 400m and G force on Acc and brake.

from what other members have said, they are pretty close, within .1-.15 sec on the 0-400mm, and the Terminal speed is also very close.

There are lots and lots of them on Ebay, if you cant find someone who will send to NZ for you, PM me a link, I will buy it for you and mail it across the ditch, you just fix me up for the costs when you get it.

I am half keen to get one for myself, I know what my car can do now and if I make a change it will at least give me an idea if im heading in the right direction or not, without spending $45. to go to WSID and have three runs.

Thanks for the kind offer of getting one for me. How much are they going for on average on ebay?

You should pick one up on ebay for under $100 AUD... more like between $70 and $80 :censored:

Here you go Gavin.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WD2V

I have contacted this guy about bulk buy, if we gat an idea on numbers I will get 10-12 or so and send em out.

$30 US + $15 US shipping, not sure about your conversion rate but its about $60 australian landed here.

If he will cut me a deal on shipping and bulk buy, could have them for around $50 AU landed.

If anyone is Keen PM or reply here so I can get an Idea on numbers and go from there.

Eugene,

I would get one at that price, but only if they are able to give metric readings. I think they could possibly be imperial only.

I'm over in the West. Is that a problem? I don't want to cause you any dramas.
