January 25, 200521 yr #3 hi all just wondering has anyone had the edit done with stage too or three aps or nizpro kits fitted<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Give you a hint Bruce, Nizpro use Edit now...... Will be doing a couple of Adelaide cars very shortly, and in the case of Johns car we will be expecting mid 11s.
January 25, 200521 yr #4 in the case of Johns car we will be expecting mid 11s.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Expecting is the easy part, actually doing mid 11's is much harder than expecting to do it. Peter

Peter<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Correct.This is that Nizpro Stage II car that already showed near equal standing start and superior roll on acceleration to the Phase III we tested in Zoom. Its not too bad, and has since gone 12.1 @ 120mph with plenty of room left for improvement with an edit tune.
January 25, 200521 yr #7 I'm a bit outa my league here, but the question I ask is:If a car already has a piggyback and tuned to perfection, then how can adding the edit improve on this? Thanks and Cheers B.B.

Thanks and Cheers B.B. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>There is alot more in edit than there is in a piggyback and the piggyback only bends and dodges signals where edit doesnt have toIf you have a look at the edit options compaired to what is in xede you would be amazed

Thanks and Cheers B.B. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>barrie good question if the same person is tuning both products and in efect the mixtures are corect and the timing is as well your right the end result should be the same! where the edit is handy is the vct's, trans shift and preasures etc! things the piggy backs dont do thing also that ems dont do! dont discout the live tunning power of piggy's and ems though!

You can have the best product on the market but if the guys tuning don't know what they're doing or are too busy to give the tune the time it needs it won't be very good.My recomendation is to find the most reputable tuner in your area. Find the workshop that gets the best results and use what ever product they think they can get the best results with. If you're in Melbourne I'd go to the HPF where I go. With what they have achieved with my car and others I know of they have a great track record. In QLD where you are I'd talk to the local guys and get a feel for who's good up there. You also need to have a good relationship with your tuner and need to explain exactly what you expect out of the car.You could also talk to the tuners we have on the forum and see who they think are good up there. Nick (dynowog) might be able to point you in the right direction and so might Peter (APS).Geea.
