I was thinking guys that we just postpone this event till abit later. I assume that are not alot of replies due to the Easter Break coming up and people have other commitments. Why not we leave it to after the break and maybe a little bit later and then just make a date, time and place and then go from there. Does that sound like a good idea?

I'd be in for a cruise and a feed somewhere. Don't give a toss about fishing.

Let us know dates, times and locations.

The plan:

Meet at Homebush Bay Aquatic Center Parking at 10:00 AM, on Sunday 18th May.

From there we leave at no later than 10:30AM, head down the M4, turn left at the Mulgoa Road exit, right at the second (from memory) round about which is Silverdale Road, Straight through the next round about on to Farnsworth Ave, and down to Warragamba Damn Picnic Area 1 for a BBQ and drinks, and a photo shoot down near the dam viewing area later in the afternoon.

The trip should take around 1 - 1.5 hours from Homebush Bay.

Important Note (Wet weather alternative)

If it rains, we will be meeting at Garrison Point situated next to Lake Gillawarna in Georges Hall (I will place a map up tonight). This park has a couple of undercover picnic area's which can fit quite a few people.

How to get there from Homebush Bay: Go down the M4 towards Penrith, turn left at the Walgrove road exit (Wonderland exit), go all the way down and turn left onto Elizabeth Drive, Follow Elizabeth Drive down into Liverpool and turn Left onto the Hume Hwy, then all the way down to the "Macano" traffic lights and turn Right onto Henry Lawson Drive. Picnic Area and Carpark are about 2km down Henry Lawson Drive on the right hand side. (There are also signs pointing to Garrison Point).

I do realise this is a very long way around, but what is a XR6Turbo.com cruise without a long cruise? The trip should take around 1 - 1.5 hours from Homebush Bay.

I don't think it's fair to have just BA XR's.

We come for a cruise no matter what we drive, so why not join in on the photo shoot?

What are everyone elses opinions on this?

I just know I won't let my "car" be seen in a photo :)

I think anyone with any car can come along, for me the more the better.
