Simmo, mate, youve had a shocker. :w00t2:

Where is the option for ZERO problems old chap? :k24t:

You are forgiven. :spoton:

The only problems my car has are design flaws:

1- power windows buttons not illuminated and (2) no footwell lighting!

My T has had

2 replacement ICC's

1 repaired tail shaft

1 new tail shaft

1 auto gearbox new

the boot liner stuck back in

the diff screws tightened so it stops leaking

left fog light replaced

right low beam replaced

the rear view mirror tightened

when the fog light protectors were put on the ford mechanic forgot to screw the light in and I pushed it in when I was giving T a wash...... I was pissed!

It took about 3 months to get all this fixed! all good now. I had to wait 28 days for ford to supply a replacemant ICC. no doof doof for a month...

Im happy now

It all started the day I picked her up from the dealer.Go to drive out and the rear end started to shutter badly.Told by service dept they will investigate further at 3000km complimentary inspection. To this day I wish I had not handed over the cheque that day.

On the way home I go to open the sunroof and it doesn't work. I pull up at the lights and the breaks squealled badly.

My problems are never ending and so are the bullsh*t excuses I get from Ford.

List as follows:

* Shuttering rear end, 2 diffs already replaced

*Slipping clutch and hot spots on flywheel,Clutch replaced

*Surgeing power, boost sensor changed twice

*Replaced 2 throttle bodies already

*oil leak from diff

*Coolant leak from water pump

*Oil consumption,2 litres used prior to 15k service

*Clutch slipping again after 15k service(apprentice had some fun)

*Break pads replaced on premium brakes, Still squealling

*Centre console lid faulty,replaced

*Rust on inside of door, Minor

*Clunking noise coming from under rear end on light load cruising

*Pipe from turbo fell off causing no power

*power steering noise/vibration, changed hose but still makes noise

All this from a car with 16k on the clock which cost me 57k. No I am not happy.

loaded,

Im sorry to hear your story. Dont worry, youre not alone, there are other lemons out there...and some which are worse.

This is why we need Lemon Laws like in the US. If you ever bump into your state member of parliament offer your views on this matter.

If ANY product fails to do what it is meant to do it should be replaced. Complex goods like cars are no different, if you fork out 50 grand and your car is off the road consistently for serious repairs then ya'll deserve a new vehicle or a refund.

I havent had any real problems. Creaky front end, a noise at the moment that sounds like rubbing, maybe pads,( u know, a Ch, Ch, Ch sound that speeds up as you increase speed ) and squeaking brakes. Is squeaky brakes warranty??

Bought it in July (I think) of 04, and so far have had a problem-less 7900km...the best car I've ever owned...just not to happy about the quality of a few things, that's about it...

oct 03 build sedan

*‘shh shh’ noise coming from wheels (handbrake)

*dented sun visor since brand new (looks like someones punched it hard)

*audible diff whine at 85-110km/h

*shunt when changing gears (auto)

*exhaust heat shield rattle on idle

*paint defect on drivers side rear lower door (splodge mark)

*paint flaking off intercooler

*Car stalls, and often at traffic lights or when coming to a stop

*Car will idle very roughly and RPM drops like its going to stall

*Drivers side rear window sill strip jerks out when window is rolled down, and makes shuddering noise

*Steering wheel shudders excessively when turning at low speeds

*rear passenger side window seal is of poor quality and creates wind noise

*Front passenger seat has excessively worn causing the grey material to turn fuzzy (like the soft part of Velcro)

*Front passenger side arm rest handle feels like it will fall off when you pull the door shut (very loose)

*shuddering windscreen wipers

*windscreen seal is dodgy and causes a lot of wind noise (loud whistling)

*Clunk from rear when you plant it in 'D'

There we go, that's 17 things wrong. Most of them are major though :D

We still love the car a lot
