It was self defence!  I took off from the lights nice and easy and he decided to show me what a Typhoon could do to me.

My sentiments exactly does not matter whether it is a GT , a Foon or an HSV. Pride at stake and all that. Get hosed well what can you do but acknowledge the effort with a genuine

Well, next time do what I'd have done ... when he puts his foot down to hose you, make it seem like you're playing the game by keeping just up to him but not reeling him in. At the next stop you congratulate him on a great car and tell him that if you'd known he was racing you'd have tried harder. This makes him think you're a skite and makes him even more determined to show you what he's got. Then, acting with real bravado, you offer to do it for $$$$$ ... HUSTLE!!!

Maybe I'm just jealous because I couldn't hose a Typhoon. I still let my old man win arm wrestles though.
