does any one know of any magazines that have tested the new hsvs and run 0-100 and0-400m tests and so on. or the new 6 speed gt's or typhoon

Quoting November 2004 Motor magazine on page 64, according to HSV:

Manual:

0-100km/hr: 5.2s

0-400m : 13.5s

Top speed: 270km/hr (gearing-limited)

Auto:

0-100km/hr: 5.1s

0-400m : 13.3s

Top speed: 274km/hr (drag-limited)

Wheels mag got a 5.2 and a 13.5. If that was with two people on board then Motor Mag could crack 5 and get close to 12.9.

They got 273 in the manual. But then again these are HSV press fleet. They do tend to be pretty handy, not that I am suggesting anything underhanded.
