Makes me think that the less power you have the better time you will get, as the more power the harder it is to get down. :o

I think this is very much the case in many situations, although the manual does have a distinct disadvantage compared to the auto.

I've seen a phase III auto with over 350rwkw do high 12's a best because he couldn't get off the line and when he did get traction he hit the limiter straight away. There certainly has to be a lot of technique to it when handling the higher powered cars.

JB I don't think many manuals have gone quicker than 13.4. Maybe someone could make a list of manual "T" 1/4 mile times cause I reckon you'd be close to the top.

Geea. :o

Geea, You're dead right.......... not many manuals T have gone into the 12's.............it's not easy to do...............we managed a 12.09@124mphat Calder in the APS manual T about a year ago though its really difficult to launch the car without too much wheel spin..............the auto T is much easier to launch. :o

Been doing some thinking and what would Craig say to strapping a Video Cam on the passenger side in between the headrest and seat so we can get a view of the track as he runs down the track.

If you strap it in George I'll gladly carry it for the 1/4. It should make some good viewing. :spoton:

It would be good to see what the boost and oil preasure gauges are doing cause I dont get a chance to look at them whilst I'm racing.

Geea. :glad:

Craig your got a deal....now we gotta get a video cam from someone who would be generous enough to lend.

I'm happy I got into the Victorian 12 second club with a pass of 12.694 at 110 mph.

I must thank Pete from APS for his advice and coaching and Mark from Dynomotive for the tune.

Deek great to see that you broke into the 12 second bracket...............very much deserved and it does take some time and effort to get the best out of your T. :shifty:

I think there is at least another 3 to 4 tenths in your T.................we must catch up and have a chat at some time soon...............maybe a tweak here and there will yeild a happier time slip. :spoton:
