August 21, 200422 yr #62 Sounds like an awesome beast, cant wait to see it with the nudge bar and UHF! We need LOOOOOOOOOTS of pics mate.
August 21, 200422 yr #63 Ivan hasn't got around to any pics yet but I took a couple for him today so here they are ...You wanted to see the nudgie you say?
August 21, 200422 yr #65 Note the towbar ... Ivan assures me that this is not to be used for towing so I suppose it is to be used only for backing up to gum trees ...
August 21, 200422 yr #66 Ivan hasn't got around to any pics yet but I took a couple for him today so here they are ...You wanted to see the nudgie you say? this might be a silly question...but...how does the nudge bar + lights affect the radiator temp?
August 21, 200422 yr #67 Good question, because ECB wont let you use their nudge bar on an XR6 T because it interfers with the Intercooler?
August 21, 200422 yr #68 crisso> the short answer is that it doesn't.Most of the cooling for the radiator is from below the bumper - it has been demonstrated that even completely covering the upper grille doesn't adversely effect cooling. Aerodynamically, once the vehicle is travelling over about 60 kph the air flow is either over or under the mid level of the frontal aspect of the vehicle. In other words, after reaching a certain level of flow, the air "dams" behind the upper grille and stops the ingress of any further air.PS My RS2000 (as with all RS2000s) has NO grille - it is just a "show" grille and has no openings at all. All the cooling comes from smallish openings beneath the bumper.
August 21, 200422 yr #69 Good question, because ECB wont let you use their nudge bar on an XR6 T because it interfers with the Intercooler? That is a physical (space) problem, nothing to do with cooling.
August 21, 200422 yr #70 Looks great & my prayer (apart from the one with Brooke Shields, Jessica Simpson & me,) centred around Cro enjoying his new car a hole lot longer than the last one.Scotty
